Additionally, it seeks to build and expand the CIT membership network. The program's target audience includes university students, the general public, insurance professionals, tech firms, and various startups.

Project Activities

CIT InsurTech Roadshow

The InsurTech Roadshow is an educational initiative designed to share knowledge about insurance and the application of technology to enhance various processes within the insurance value chain. The target audience includes students, insurance industry professionals, personnel from technology firms, tech startups, and the general public with an interest in insurance technology. Furthermore, the roadshow features proactive public relations activities to introduce the Center of InsurTech, Thailand (CIT) and to encourage the target audience to participate and apply for the OIC InsurTech Award innovation competition.

InsurTech Bootcamp

The InsurTech Bootcamp is a dedicated program for selected OIC InsurTech Award applicants. It is designed to foster the sharing of knowledge on insurance technology (InsurTech) innovations through an eLearning format. Participants will engage in an online intensive coaching system equipped with a learning hour tracking feature. Additionally, the bootcamp includes a presentation session where participants pitch their projects. The judging committee will then evaluate and select the most practical and scalable solutions with high potential for industry application to advance to the final round of the OIC InsurTech Award competition.

OIC InsurTech Award 2020

The OIC InsurTech Award 2020 innovation competition and award ceremony was held under the theme "InsurTech Breaking Through The New Insurance Possibility." The event addressed the insurance industry's need to adapt during the COVID-19 era, emphasizing the demand for limitless innovation to transition into the new age of the insurance landscape. Organized in a hybrid format combining both online and offline elements, the competition was divided into two categories: University Students and the General Public. Applicants underwent a rigorous selection process evaluated by a panel of distinguished judges from various sectors, ultimately narrowing the field down to a single winning team for each category.
