The Office of Insurance Commission (OIC) has initiated the Product Innovation and Tailor-Made Sandbox project to support Thai insurance businesses in creating new insurance products with various coverage, sales, services, and insurance premium rate determination to align with policyholders' needs and risks. This project allows the public to try insurance products within a controlled environment under the supervision of the OIC to prevent wide-range impacts that may occur. The project includes data collection of underwriting, claims, and other related information, which helps develop and improve insurance products and insurance premium rates to align with the actual needs and risks of the public.
